
Perplexity is an AI-powered answer engine disrupting the search landscape, competing in a fast-moving category where standing out demands both clarity and credibility. The challenge was translating a technically sophisticated product into paid social creative that could educate, intrigue and convert across the funnel. We implemented a full-funnel creative strategy across Meta, building awareness through sharp product storytelling while driving conversion through benefit-led and comparison-style formats. Our creative approach balanced hi-fi product visuals with punchy, insight-driven copy designed to challenge search habits.
We produced 300 creatives per month across UGC, static and motion, enabling rapid testing across audience segments and funnel stages. Improving our approach month on month as top-performing creatives were identified and scaled. One advert alone based on a meme style WhatsApp conversation referencing a topical debate of the moment took Perplexity to the number 1 download app on the App Store in Brazil.
